Von Buenos Aires über Neapel nach Berlin folgt das Programm den Spuren einer Musik, die über den Atlantik reiste. Tango, italienische Melodien und die Gegenwart in Berlin werden zu Stationen eines gemeinsamen musikalischen Abends.

TANGO TENORS brings together the sound of two classically trained Argentine tenors with tango and Italian song. From Buenos Aires through Naples to Berlin, the programme follows the traces of music that travelled across the Atlantic. Tango, Italian melodies and the present in Berlin become stops on one shared musical journey.

Rolando Guy

Der argentinisch-italienische Tenor Rolando Guy lebt seit 2019 in Berlin. Sein Repertoire reicht von Mozart und Donizetti bis Puccini und zur Operette. Zu seinen Bühnenrollen zählen Ferrando, Nemorino, Tamino und zuletzt Symon in Millöckers Der Bettelstudent. Der argentinische Tango verbindet seine klassische Laufbahn mit seiner Heimat Buenos Aires.

Argentine-Italian tenor Rolando Guy has been based in Berlin since 2019. His repertoire ranges from Mozart and Donizetti to Puccini and operetta. His stage roles include Ferrando, Nemorino, Tamino and, most recently, Symon in Millöcker's Der Bettelstudent. Argentine tango connects his classical career with his native Buenos Aires.

Gastón Efficace

Der argentinische Tenor und Musiker Gastón Efficace studierte Komposition in Buenos Aires und absolvierte einen Master in Operngesang an der Musikakademie Łódź. Seine Bühnenlaufbahn umfasst Opern- und Operettenproduktionen in Deutschland und Europa mit Werken von Mozart, Wagner, Puccini, Lehár und Donizetti. Bei TANGO TENORS ist er Sänger und Pianist.

Argentine tenor and musician Gastón Efficace studied composition in Buenos Aires and completed a Master's degree in Opera Singing at the Academy of Music in Łódź. His stage career includes opera and operetta productions across Germany and Europe, with works by Mozart, Wagner, Puccini, Lehár and Donizetti. In TANGO TENORS he performs as singer and pianist.
